The DVD includes the movie in widescreen format (letterboxed on a standard television) and special features including deleted scenes, production photo gallery, crew video, movie trailer and media coverage from NTV. We hope that you will all purchase a copy and encourage all of your friends to order one as well!

We premiered the movie at the Omaha Film Festival in March. We were thrilled that so many of you were able to make it out to the festival despite the huge snowstorm that hit at the beginning of the week. We were proud to have the largest audience of any of the films at the festival. As with the New York screenings, the response was overwhelmingly positive from filmmakers and festival-goers alike.

The other exciting news is that Baby Lion Productions has moved to Denver, CO where Margaret has taken a position teaching editing and post-production at Colorado Film School. The film scene in Colorado is very strong and it affords Margaret and Matthew the ability to travel to Nebraska more regularly. In fact, they will both be in Hastings this weekend as soloists in the Hastings College performance of The Messiah. For any of you who are in the area, we'd love to see you!!

We're so excited to be able to share with you all the hard work that the cast and crew of independence have put into this project over the past few years. It has been a tremendous labor of love for all who have been involved and has enriched all of our lives with the beauty of a community coming together to make a story come alive. We are so proud of the final product and it could not have been possible without the dedication and passion of all who worked on the project and of all of you who have supported us through the process.
